Information We Collect

We collect personal identification information such as your name, email address, and phone number when you register for an account, fill out a form, or interact with our services. This information is collected only when you voluntarily submit it to us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our services
  • To improve, personalize, and expand our services
  • To understand and analyze how you use our services
  • To develop new products, services, features, and functionality
  • To communicate with you, including for customer service, updates, and other information relating to the service
  • To send you emails
  • To find and prevent fraud

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Account profile data (name, email, phone, profile picture, preferences): retained for the lifetime of your account. Removed within 30 days of account deletion.
  • In-app messages and direct communications: retained for the lifetime of your account. Removed within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Time-off requests, shift swaps, and request history: retained for the lifetime of your account. Removed within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Schedules, shifts, and timekeeping records tied to your employment: owned by your employer (organization) and retained according to their retention policy and applicable employment, payroll, and labor laws — typically up to 7 years.
  • Billing, invoices, and tax records: retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
  • Security and audit logs (account IDs, IP addresses, access events): retained for up to 12 months for fraud prevention, abuse detection, and security monitoring, then permanently deleted.
  • Encrypted backup snapshots: residual copies of deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion and are then overwritten on the normal backup rotation.
  • Aggregated, de-identified analytics: data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.

Your Data Rights and Account Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal information at any time. You can request deletion of your account and the associated data in two ways:

  • From inside the app: open the LastMinute app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, and confirm.
  • By email: send a request from the email address registered to your account to support@trylastminute.com with the subject "Delete my LastMinute account".

Once a deletion request is received, your account is closed immediately and personal data covered above is removed from our production systems within 30 days. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 additional days. Data retained for legal, tax, or employer-record obligations is kept only for the retention periods listed in the section above.

For full step-by-step instructions and a detailed breakdown of what is deleted versus what is retained, visit our Delete Account page.

For any other request to access, correct, or export your data, or to exercise rights granted by applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA), contact us at support@trylastminute.com. We will respond within 30 days.
